Your mission
Reporting to the R&D Director, you will define, develop, and manage the market-driven lifecycle of VERDOT’s product portfolio. Your scope will include established product lines as well as innovative downstream purification solutions for emerging biologic modalities and evolving manufacturing needs. Based close to R&D and manufacturing, you will connect customers, commercial teams, and technical functions.
Your key responsibilities:
- Define the product vision, value proposition, and multi-year portfolio roadmap.
- Identify and structure new downstream purification solutions while balancing standardization, platform scalability, and custom execution.
- Own the full product lifecycle, including upgrades, industrialization, cost optimization, and phase-out.
- Collect and analyze Voice of Customer, monitor market trends, and translate insights into clear product opportunities.
- Define market-driven PRD / URS-level requirements and work closely with R&D, Engineering, Automation, and Quality.
- Support positioning, launches, sales tools, product documentation, and internal training.
- Contribute to complex pre-sales discussions and coordinate cross-functional feedback loops.
What you bring:
- An Engineering or Life Sciences background in bioprocessing, biotechnology, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience with at least 5 years in bioprocessing equipment, purification technologies, or GMP systems.
- Strong technical understanding of chromatography, filtration, and GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical active ingredients.
- The ability to operate effectively across technical, operational, and commercial teams.
- A structured, analytical, customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Ideally based in Saint-Beauzire (63360), or elsewhere in France with frequent travel to Saint-Beauzire, industry conferences, and customer sites.
