1970s – 1980s

Workshop growth and entry into biopharmaceutical equipment manufacturing

During the 1970s, the workshop grew as it started to specialize in the manufacturing of custom prototypes, sub-assemblies and intricate equipment using stainless steel and plastic materials. In the 1980’s, the expertise in designing, fabricating and manufacturing custom stainless steal machinery provided the opportunity to pivot towards biopharmaceutical equipment manufacturing.

1950

VERDOT founded

VERDOT began as a small family-owned workshop in Riom, France. Under the guidance of Mr. Charles Verdot, the workshop focused on fabricating and machining high-quality products. Michelin, with headquarters located nearby in Clermont-Ferrand, was a prominent customer.
